Maasai Mara is also known for the the Great Wildebeest Migration where over two million animals migrate from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to the greener pastures of Maasai Mara, Kenya from July to October.
Day 1: Nairobi City – Maasai Mara
Pick up and depart Nairobi and watch the steep towers of the skyline dissolve into the trees. Beside the road the trees rise and fall giving way to open plains, trickling water, villages, and back to plains. Arrive at the foothills of the Great Rift Valley where a natural wall made of trees and rock spring from the earth. Enter the Mara Plains known for its wildlife concentration. You will arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five plus other animals.
Day 2: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
You will undertake an early morning game drive and drive back to lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you will have the morning at leisure while enjoying the lodge facilities. You will then have your lunch and set out in search of Mara’s popular residents like the wild cats and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo and the dangerous Crocodiles with a visit to Mara River.
Day 3: Masai Mara - Nairobi
Early Morning breakfast at your lodge, check out and drive to Nairobi.
